Neil Gayler & Co. was established in 1997 as an Independent Financial Advisory practice.  In June 2019, our regulated advice business was sold to the FA92 Group Ltd. who formed a new business, NG Wealth, to look after the regulated advice needs of our clients.  For the next two years Neil was retained by NG Wealth as a consultant under the title “Client Relationship Manager”.  He was responsible for any strategic planning and financial modelling that may have been required prior to any regulated advice being provided by his colleagues.  He was also able to assist when called upon for his expertise in financial matters relating to Later Life and Long-Term Care Fees funding, and his specialist knowledge in Tax Planning. After two years the NG Wealth brand was subsumed into the parent company and Neil moved on from his role there to focus on expanding on the other services that Neil Gayler & Co were offering.

The services we now provide are very much, but not exclusively, later life focussed and fall into two basic groups.
 

The first of these is Estate Planning which includes the drafting of Wills, Powers of Attorney and, where appropriate, suitable trust structures to ensure that your assets do not end up in the wrong hands or get taxed unnecessarily.

The second group is providing assistance with State Benefit applications such as Attendance Allowance, Carer’s Allowance and Blue Badge applications but also general assistance with legal and financial documentation.

About our Principal, Neil Gayler

 

After a dalliance with medicine at Dundee University Medical School, Neil spent the first 34 years of his working life as a Financial Adviser, 13 as a self-employed Company Representative and the following 21 years running his own Independent Financial Advisory practice, Neil Gayler & Co.  Following the sale of the regulated advice part of the practice in 2019, he has continued to work within the firm drawing on his vast experience to provide the "non-regulated" services that are available. 

 

Outside of work, he leads mindfulness walks in the Cotswolds, looks after his allotment and spends much of his spare time in nature.  He is a keen forager and bushcraft practitioner and has an aspiration to move into the countryside, live simply and become largely self-sufficient.

He also runs a holistic healing practice, Imperial Holistic Therapies, and is a fully qualified Reiki Master as well as being able to offer treatments including Swedish Massage, traditional Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Massage, Shamanic Healing and journeying including Soul Retrieval, Past Life Regression Therapy, Sound Healing and Assemblage Point alignment. More recently he has developed an interest in Energy Healing and is able to offer therapies using Tesla Violet Ray healing devices amongst others.

He has two grown-up children, both now living and working in London.
